Steelers vs Packers – Superbowl XLV: Who cares? What’s important is the beer.

Sometimes it doesn’t matter who wins the Superbowl. In this case I am rooting for the Pack – that’s just because I picked two teams this year to get there: Packs and Jets. I almost was spot on! That being said, it could’a been Seattle Seahawks and still, the most important thing about Superbowl Sunday is that I get to try out a different beer. It’s always been my tradition – new beer for Superbowl Sunday.

Steelers vs Packers – Superbowl XLV: Who cares? What’s important is the beer.

So, for today’s beer of choice for Superbowl XLV is…

It’s a tasty beer with a little hint of orange – kinda like a Blue Moon but lighter. Smooth beer perfect for the beer drinker that doesn’t want something too overbearing and strong. Donna liked it so its a good ‘repeat beer’ for the household.

Now, as I down my second beer I had to listen to Christina Aguilera mess up the Star Spangled Banner! If there is somthing you do not ever mess up and that’s the Star Spangled Banner! And if you are going to mess up, sing the song without all the fricken fluff!

That just pisses me off. A good beer kinda ruined because of a stupid pop star adding all these stupid lyrical runs but messes up the most sacred song in America! Singing it plain, simple, and letting the song be what it is – beautiful – is better than messing it up, and adding a flare that isn’t even anything more than ego.

Okay, so we’re over that. And now on to hamburgers and the game.

Go Pack!
