SEO Keywords are Key

Are you trying to monetize your blog? Are you trying take your blog to the bank? Well, here’s a secret – don’t just get Google Advertising plastered on your blog, work on great Keywords because…

SEO Keywords are Key!

A simple blog, even if you write a variety of topics, and a blog that could be going out to the small masses, could bring in from 5 cents a day, to a dollar a day or more! Seriously!

That’s $30 a month getting paid to blog on your own blog! Not bad considering the work involved – but the work involved is initial research to set up strong keywords for Search Engine Optimization.

These tips are all about helping the small time blogger, but can be utilized by business who want their blog to be seen, and climb the search engine ranks!

Here are three simple tips on SEO Keyword research:

1. Put together a list of 10 new keywords for your blog’s subject matter every month.
2. Use a keyword in your Title, Heading, Beginning Paragraph, and closing paragraph, and, of course, naturally within the content of your blog post.
3. Write and keep writing – content is always key!

So lets get started!

1. Put together a list of 10 new keywords for your blog’s subject matter every month.

Yes, SEO Keywords are key, so if that’s the case, you need these ‘keys’ to unlock your blog’s success. Writing 100 articles based on 100 SEO keywords may be a bit daunting for your first week, month, or even six months. But finding 10 new strong SEO Keywords a month is not a hard task.

These keywords should help get your blog searched – the more the merrier is what I like to say!

2. Use a keyword in your Title, Heading, Beginning Paragraph, and closing paragraph, and, of course, naturally within the content of your blog post.

It’s all about placement. That goes for Google Adsense banners, as well as your SEO Keywords! Where do you put them?

The first place is at the title of your blog post or subject line. Create a heading with your keywords in it, and start off your blog post with your keyword as a main idea in your opening paragraph.

Of course, writing quality content is key, and using your SEO keywords within your content in a natural (not forced) way, is encouraged. Then, end your post with a paragraph that supports your keywords! 400 – 1000 words seems to do the trick, and is a recommended word count from experts all over the blogosphere!

3. Write and keep writing – content is always key!

When you first start a blog, updating it regularly is the best way to show that your blog is active and filled with information. Writing a blog post once a day for a couple of months will definitely help your blog make a dent on the internet.

Try not to lose your posts by posting several blog entries in a day, but instead, write a bunch of posts in a day and submit them on the following days. That way you can create a cushion of posts and can stay ahead of yourself with content – as ideas may dry up from time to time.

Yes, content is key, so write specific and informative blog posts that people will find valuable – or they just might not search for those keywords!

These are three simple ways to get a simple new blog monetized and/or searched, as well as a profitable business who wants to make more of an impact on the world wide web.

Spending quality time researching SEO Keywords is Key to your blog’s success. Trust me… I speak from a simple slice of life’s blog’s experience!
